2019 Western Equipment Merger
On September 30, 2019, Green Country Equipment will officially merge with Western Equipment. Both Green Country and Western Equipment have a reputation in the ag industry of doing business the right way and have been recognized as top John Deere dealerships in North America. The merger is a natural fit bringing together the Texas panhandle.
As a customer, you are the most important part of the Green Country and Western Equipment family. This merger will bring new and exciting benefits to you as a customer, such as:
- Increased parts availability due to the leverage brought by having 21 John Deere stores
- Larger inventory of new and used equipment to choose from
- Expanded service capabilities, including more technicians in our shops and service trucks in the field

The new Western Equipment will be comprised of 12 Texas dealerships in Amarillo, Childress, Dalhart, Dimmitt, Dumas, Floydada, Muleshoe, Olton, Pampa, Perryton, Plainview, and Spearman; eight Oklahoma dealerships in Altus, Alva, Boise City, Clinton, Guymon, Hobart, Weatherford and Woodward; and 1 dealership in Clovis, New Mexico.
