Optional skid steer attachment carrier

The skid steer attachment carrier is installed in place of the standard John Deere attachment carrier and allows for the use of skid steer attachments on the H180, H160, and H165 Loaders.

Loader suspension system (LSS) to enhance the ride

An enhancement to the loader is the suspension system. A great level of loader productivity is achieved with the LSS.

  • An accumulator charged with nitrogen and connected to the head-end lift cylinder hose through a T-fitting provides shock absorption
  • The cylinders move in and out to allow the boom to float 

Quik-change attachment carrier

Allows fast, easy removal and mounting of attachments without tools.

Quik-Park™ loader mounting system

The parking stand, attached to the front frame of the tractor, is an integral part of the loader during loader operation. The parking stand lowers into position by moving the joystick to the raised position once the latches are opened. This allows the loader to move to the park position.

Mounting frame for 4R Series Open Station Tractors, 4120, 4320, 4520, 4720, 4500, 4600, 4700, 4510, 4610, and 4710 Open Station Tractors 

Mounting frames are designed at the same time as the tractor in order to provide durable and yet very simple attaching points for the loader. The mounting frames bolt to the tractor chassis and do not restrict tractor use when the loader is not installed.

Loader mast

The loader mast is made from cast iron, which enables the unique shape.

The metal is placed in the areas where it is needed to provide strength and durability.

End-of-pin lubrication 

Grease points are all accessible from the side of the loader for service convenience.

Loader boom

The loader's boom section was designed for maximum durability and improved operator visibility.

  • Torque tube connection on boom arms provides strength and rigidity
  • Hydraulic lines and hoses are mounted on the inside of the boom for protection from possible damage
  • Lower linkage improves rollback power and improved working angles

Loader cylinders

Boom and bucket cylinders are designed to match tractor hydraulics, resulting in productive cycle times.

The cylinder rod features a nitride (black) rod that results in improved corrosion resistance versus a standard chromed cylinder rod.

Loader latch 

Opens and closes for mounting and parking the loader.  

Quik-Park™ loader mounting system

Bucket level indicator 

The bucket level indicator assists the operator to determine the attachment position at ground level. 

It is adjustable to indicate level position for different attachments such as pallet forks and buckets. 

The indicator is adjusted to have the bend of the rod rest in the bracket when the attachment is level at ground.

The hood guard protects the front of the tractor while operating the loader. 

The bolt-on design stays with tractor when loader is removed.

61-in. (1550-mm) materials bucket

Materials buckets are available to match tractor-loader applications. The buckets may be used for loading dirt, gravel, feed, and light materials as well as scraping, digging, and other general-purpose tasks. 

73-in. (1850-mm) materials bucket

73-in. (1850-mm) high-volume bucket

This is a large-capacity bucket for the 300CX, H165, 400X, 400CX, and H180 Loaders for light material use such as handling mulch, sawdust, feed, and snow. 

61-in. (1550-mm) replaceable bucket cutting edge with hardware

Recommended for heavier use applications, such as commercial operations and rental customers.
Additional strength is added to the cutting edge and the replaceable cutting edge is reversible for longer wear life.
Not compatible with tooth bars.

73-in. (1850-mm) replaceable bucket cutting edge

Recommended for heavier-use applications, such as commercial operations and rental customers. Additional strength is added to the cutting edge. Replaceable and reversible cutting edge for longer wear life.

61-in. (1550-mm) heavy-duty bucket with holes for cutting edge

Heavy-duty buckets are available for tasks requiring more robust bucket designs. Recommended for heavier use applications, such as commercial operations. 

Top surface of the bucket is parallel to the cutting edge, which aids operator as a leveling guide. 

Additional strength is built into the bucket design with additional wear bars, boxed top bucket section, and bucket end plate supports. 

Cutting edge has pre-drilled holes for addition of a replaceable cutting edge.

Tooth bar for 61-in. (1550-mm) bucket

The tooth bar helps penetrate hard-packed material.  It attaches to the bucket by sliding over the cutting edge and is retained by two bolts, one in each end plate of the bucket.

  • Holes must be drilled in bucket end plates to retain the tooth bar
  • Protrudes beyond bucket edge approximately 150 mm or 6 in.
  • Recommended for use with heavy-duty buckets only
  • Not compatible with buckets with replaceable cutting edge installed
